I saw Old Green in Cayuga Lake!

It hasn't occurred to me until now to post what I saw. Why? It was a head three or four feet long with a row of large triangular teeth with aquatic plants hanging from them and a large unblinking eye. I was looking south across Lake Cayuga in the middle of the afternoon from the northern-most end at a creature that was not supposed to exist! It broke surface about 100 feet away from me as I stood on the pebble-strewn beach amazed; but in little more than threed seconds that enormous head disappeared below the surface without so much as a ripple leaving no evidence it had ever been there!

Shortly after Windows 7 commandeered my computer the beeps started. Every few minutes whether it was turned on or off. Off on the internet I went to find a solution; and there were many! I learned quite a bit about my computer's internal works but after using more than a dozen different fixes the beeps still occurred. Then I read a geek's explanation of why the beeps continued....the beep service is most likely subcontracted by an author who has disappeared never to return and no one at Windows will take the time to fix the problem.
Well; after a few weeks of tearing my hair out I received a Windows update....shortly after that the beeps disappeared!
So apparently someone at Windows cared enough to take the beeps away!
